Your Provider

  • With years of experience, over 1200 hours of accredited training and high professional standards, rest assured, you’re in good hands. You may be visiting from out of town and sore from all your adventures, maybe you don’t have extended health benefits, or they have recently ran out, or maybe you have mobility issues that make having an in-house massage much more convenient. While relaxation is the prime goal, Kristina will customize your massage with a variety of techniques to ease sore muscles and work with you to make the most out of your appointment. With flexible availability and the convenience of not having to go anywhere, you can truly unwind and enjoy some selfcare.

  • Kristina is a non-registered massage provider and therefore not registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. This means the cost of your massage appointment is NOT billable to a third party. It is always recommended to review what your benefits plan will cover.

Before, During & After Your Appointment

  • Typically any quiet space of approximately 6 feet by 10 feet will do. It is always advisable to ensure the space is not too cold, especially in the winter.

  • After your intake, you will be asked to undress to your level of comfort before getting onto the table under the sheet/blanket. Your provider will leave the room at this time to give you privacy. During a standard massage, only the body part being worked on will be undraped. For some styles of bodywork, for instance Reflexology or Thai massage, you will remain fully clothed. For Thai massage you should wear comfortable, loose

    fitting clothes.

  • Yes! You are in control of your massage session. Massage doesn’t need to be painful to be effective but do speak up if you’d like more or less pressure, not only when the provider checks-in with you.

Don’t be shy, say something if:

    - you’re feeling hot or cold

    - something feels painful

    - you have a question

    - forgot to mention something important during the initial intake

  • Relax! You don’t need to do anything or go anywhere. It is advisable to stay hydrated.

Try to enjoy the renewed sense of ease in your body.
